Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Cerro de la Reina for its spectacular panoramic views of Tonalá and its rich historical significance, particularly its connection to Queen Cihualpilli. The site is also noted as a great spot for exercise and picnics, though some mention the presence of mosquitoes and a need for better maintenance.

"Must see... very historical location in tonala. I recommend googling the site before your visit so you know the history that took place here. Many monuments and a church are located on the hill. Signage is in both English and Spanish. And, you have spectacular 360 degree views of tonala. One hour is enough to see everything, but it is a good spot for a picnic. You can drive or walk to the top. If you walk, there is a great staircase, where you will find locals exercising. Bring your camera, and maybe you will find a wedding taking place in the church (it is popular for weddings). Must see if you like history!"
