"The museum has a huge collection of items from Mongolian history. There are 9 halls that are arranged according to the historical period. The display of items start from prehistoric Mongolia to Democratic Mongolia. The interesting ones are from Chinggis Khan and his successors, the traditional mongolian culture and the influence of Buddhism which influenced mongolian society. The museum contains about 60000 artifacts and takes 2-3 hrs to see them. It's a great place for history lovers and requires a guide to understand the significance of the artifacts on display."
