What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Kamenovo Beach is widely praised for its stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and convenient location near Budva. Visitors appreciate the mix of free and paid sections, the available amenities, and the scenic mountain backdrop. Some find the pebble beach uncomfortable without water shoes, and prices for sunbeds can be high during peak season.
"The beach is beautiful and clean. Half of it is free but without chairs or umbrellas, so you need to bring your own or just sit on a towel directly on the ground without any sun protection. The other half offers 2 chairs and an umbrella for €25. The beach is not sandy but covered with fine pebbles that are not harmful to walk on, though water shoes are recommended."

"A Stunning Beach Just 20 Minutes from Budva
Less than a 20-minute drive from Budva, you’ll find a breathtaking beach with crystal-clear waters. The sea is refreshingly cool and stays remarkably transparent until the afternoon. The beach itself is wide, bordered on both sides by public sections.
We visited twice — on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. and again on Sunday, August 17 at 9:45 a.m. Each time, we easily found plenty of shaded parking spots at the entrance (just €5 for the whole day, with card payment available). The beach sits directly below the parking area. On your way down, you’ll pass a small fruit stand run by a local child — watermelon is the top seller, usually gone before noon.
Both the public and serviced areas offer plenty of sunbeds. Prices vary depending on the section:
• Front row with built-in shade: €25 for two
• Larger lounge-style cabanas in the middle: €50
• Back row sunbeds: €25
By 10:00 a.m. the beach was filling up, and by noon almost every spot was taken. Arriving early is highly recommended — not only to secure a sunbed, but also because the morning swimming is especially wonderful.
Facilities are excellent: showers, changing cabins, and restrooms are available. The toilets on the Budva side are particularly well-maintained and spotless. Unlike many other beaches, there are more than enough showers for everyone. A beach bar and two restaurants serve tasty food from a wide-ranging menu.
The sand is mixed with pebbles, so water shoes are helpful. Pedal boats and small boats can also be rented nearby. Music starts playing louder around 11:00 a.m., and we even caught live music in the afternoon.
There is tunnel connecting here with the Budva coastal line, interesting walkway. The tunnel is right by the restaurant ocer the hill with a good view of the beach.
Overall, the staff (either at the beach, by ice-cream kiosk or restaurant) is very friendly and helpful.
Before coming here, we had tried Horizonti in Tivat, Jaz Beach (between Budva and Tivat), and the famous Sveti Stefan. Honestly, this beach tops them all — perfect for both families and young travelers. The scenery, the water, and the overall vibe are simply fantastic."

"Probably the best beach near Rafailovici and Becicit. There is a paid area with umbrellas and sunbeds, there is a free area. Beautiful nature, clean transparent water. If you swim with a mask you can see sea urchins, sea bass and other fish. There is a bar and a cafe with delicious food."
