What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors overwhelmingly recommend the Eusebius Church in Arnhem, praising its spectacular tower views from the glass balconies and the fascinating historical exhibits, especially in the crypt and tower. While some note the lack of original interior due to WWII, the comprehensive information and the unique experience make it a must-visit.
"100% a must visit if you go to arnhem. There's a lot to see and information for everything. There sadly isn't a whole lot left of the original interior because it was bombed during WW2, but the amount of information really makes up for that. The underground cellar is beautiful, and there's a lot of impressive finds down there. There's also a small movie that beautifully depicts how the church developed over time. The real high of the church though, is the tower. The view from the tower is amazing. Its easy to get up there because there is a massive elevator going all the way to the top, and when you are at the top, there's information about everything you're seeing. All around the Eusebius church has given me a whole new look at Gelre as a nation and I 100% recommend going there"

"A stunning church with a history dating back 500 years, located in the center of Arnhem, right beside the city's town hall. It now also serves as a museum, showcasing its origins, the destruction it suffered during World War II, and its remarkable revival. The glass balcony in its tower offers an amazing view of the city, and the church also features a crypt. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to St. Eusebius Church."
