The area is also home to four Sherman tanks encased in concrete. They are remnants of the Ijssel Line.
There's also a marker for a Roman castellum. Obviously not the castellum from over 2,000 years ago, but cages and stones have been used to mark its location.
The only drawback is the fast-moving traffic on the dike. If you come by car, you have to park on the other side of the dike."
