Name a station **plein** that you love. Why do you love it? There are lots of GREAT stations and station halls, but I haven't met a really great plein yet.
Not the stationsplein in Assen, but the nearby Brink is very pleasant! It's about 5 minutes walking from the station. Delfzijl is another surprisingly nice one, but the rest of the city isn't nice. If you're going that way, you're best off getting off the train in Appingedam.
