Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Noordhollands Duinreservaat for its beautiful, expansive nature and the tranquility it offers, even when close to urban areas. The well-maintained trails for walking and cycling are a major draw, though some note the need for preparedness in winter due to early darkness and the presence of ticks.
"Beautiful nature reserve for a walk, it's close to the traffic and the roads but once you're in it you hardly hear any traffic noise. Plenty of marked trails, we took the green one from the car park and the trail is about 4km. There are also red and blue ones though not sure how long they are. We went in the evening in December so it got dark after 4:30pm and there wasn't any lighting so you'll need to plan accordingly and take torches or plan walk according to day light. Trails start right next to the car park so very convenient. Overall very happy, will go back."
