"Epic. Loved it! My friend interpreted for me what the lady was saying during shepherding demo. She was funny and the family farm is an absolute jewel for this island. Learned more about wool also thanks to you guys. So many beautiful kinds of sheep and also a wonderful staff! I loved running into a little man named Boris running thru the puddles after his pony ride. Another kiss from heaven was running into him on the ferry back to the main island! β€οΈ π Thank you guys for letting us pet the sheep also. What a treat you guys are in many ways!"

"This was the highlight of our weekend trip to Texel!
We went in early April and were able to see newborn lambs. All the animals--the lambs, the sheep, the guinea pigs, the chickens, the goats, the pigs, and the herding dogs--seem healthy and well taken care of. We even got to see a demonstration of the sheep herding, seeing the herding dogs in action. The presentation during with the sheep herding demo was 95% in Dutch, but the presenter was kind enough to answer any questions we had in English for us, which we appreciated. As expected, there were lots of families with small children but also had plenty of adults by themselves who were enjoying the farm, making it feel less like a petting zoo.
We really enjoyed our time here, being able to get super close to the animals and pet them. This experience was very well worth coming to Texel for!"
