What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the exceptional hospitality and the stunning, well-preserved Empire-style interiors of Museum Huis Barnaart. The knowledgeable and friendly volunteers, along with the complimentary refreshments, create a warm and memorable experience that transports guests back to the 19th century.
"Super lovely and nice ladies as hosts☺️ This is a large “party house” in the early 1800s and had extravagant reception rooms for guests, and now we can experience the same in these rooms. A free coffee or tea is served by the ladies at the end and we happened to have a visitor who is professional Italian opera singer and gives amazing performance at the house. I also got the chance to talk to one of the ladies, who welcomes me warmly, and we exchanged our recommendations for travel destinations on earth☺️ great experiences and highly recommend everyone to visit"

"Super friendly and knowledgeable volunteers showing us around and sharing their knowledge and interest. Audio tour for the first floor, ground floor, basement and garden. Beautifully restored but not to much furniture in it. Most memorable was the people and audio tour."
