"A sister Haven to Marina Muiderzand which used to be our harbour. We now stay in Lelystad for the next 6 months. We couldn't be happier. The passant pontoon is well located and easy to find, fresh water and electric available. Just a tip: when coming in to passant pontoon have your fenders low near the water. The harbour masters do their upmost to make you feel welcome and make sure your spot is just right, nothing is too much. Good clean facilities and well maintained, the staff take pride in what they do. Playground, toilets, showers, laundrette are well kept and clean. You can hire a bicycle even loan one for a short time if you just need it quick. True, the supermarkets are not close but 15 mins with a hire bicycle from the harbour and you are sorted. This is a perfect overnight stop but if you love peace and quiet and beautiful sunsets, Lelystad haven is perfect. Bataviastad is a 15 minute cycle ride also along the water. Portside restaurant in the Haven is good, make sure you reserve it gets full fast!"
