"Cornwall Park: The Chill Spot with Cows, Views & a Bit of History
Big, green, and beautiful Cornwall Park is basically Auckland’s backyard. Whether you're into walking, jogging, hiking, cycling, or just pretending to be fit while taking selfies, this place has you covered.
There’s an easy hike up to One Tree Hill, and at the top, you’ll find the Logan Campbell Monument (yes, it's a monument and his grave confirmed!). He’s basically the guy who gifted this park to the people, so a big thanks to him for giving us somewhere to hang with sheep on weekends.
Speaking of which cows and sheep roam freely like they own the place (and honestly, they kinda do). It’s family-friendly, photogenic, and filled with massive trees that make you feel tiny in the best way.
Toilets? Yes. Parking? Plentiful with multiple entrances. Crowds? A little heavier in the evenings, but still peaceful enough to pretend you're in a countryside movie montage.
“Logan was here… paying respect to Logan Campbell, no relation (I think).”"
