"Enjoyed our free carving workshop hosted by Matua Calvin Taneora and Whaea Roimata. The experience was fun, culturally enriching and well resourced. A huge thanks to both of them for creating a safe and delightful space to be creative. I attended with my son and two nieces, but will promote this particular event to my wider networks and community. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we also ventured out to the cafe. The food and service is also good.

It a so good to see many ethnicities at the workshop. Great job Howick historical village for hosting a Māori and Pacific event"

"During the school holidays, I organized a city-wide treasure hunt across Auckland for my daughter. To begin with, she would find a “very old” message in a bottle planted in one of the old sites.
Enter the wonderful staff at Howick Historical Village who played along helped with my plan and started what was an epic adventure for my 7 year old. Can’t thank you guys enough. Much much appreciated!"
