"A beautifully maintained city hall/theatre which had a major refit back stage some years ago which allows incredible touring shows to have confidence in that their needs are met for the many production companies that book this pearl of a venue knowing it offers the best in Australasia and our local productions are far better for having such an amazing staging set. The architecture itself is stunning for NZ as a country, considered incredibly young given it's only been inhabited less than 400 years. Floodlights at night highlight another dimension which is well worth seeing."
