"One of the Hauraki Gulf’s lesser known islands, but an absolute gem! Took a ferry for a day trip from Westhaven pier. 5/6 hours is the perfect amount of time to explore the whole island and swim in several of the beautiful beaches it has to offer. The best beaches are on the far side of the island from where the ferry docks, so it is worth walking a bit further. The whole island can be covered on foot without too much exertion. Bring plenty of food/water as there is next to nothing available on the island."
