The equipment seemed in good shape and was very cleverly designed to keep us safe while giving us independence from the staff.
The downsides: parking is a little confusing (we had to drive past it and guess where we're allowed to park) and the bathroom near the course is gross--so you want to walk up the hill to use the flush toilets 5 minutes away."

The younger was less so but certainly gave it his best. They both succeeded and had a great time. My thanks to the staff who supported my mokos in particular but were attentive to all. Clear safety instructions showing exactly how to use the equipment; and just the right encouragement when one of my boys got stuck. A reminder of the basics and gentle but firm guidance from the ground. All the reassurance that was needed and our moko carried on again. No doubt the boys will be back and their koro and I will be happy to accompany them. Ngā mihi ki a koutou..."
