I found one of the best birding spots in New Zealand I think 🦆✨ The Waikanae Estuary Scientific Reserve is home to 60 different species of birds and on this trip I managed to film a respectable 20 in two hours. Mad peaceful vibes at this place ya’ll 💛

Out at Battle Hill yesterday and did the Transmission gully/Puketiro loop yesterday for the first time, which takes you into the start of the Akatarawa Forest. Stunning view from the top, hella windy!
