"Amazing, beautiful place and if you go you should definitely try to time it so you can see the Lady Knox geyser at 10:15 each morning. The team working this venue were all very very friendly. I’m sure anyone who’s seen Yellowstone in the US may not be too impressed but I haven’t seen Yellowstone and I was very impressed by this place. Apparently the largest caldera in southern hemisphere."

"I can’t help but say this felt a bit like a let-down. Since the Lady Knox Geyser show (where the staff throw soap inside) takes place at 10:15, everyone then rushes back into the main park, which naturally creates some overcrowding until noon. The area itself is interesting in its essence, but unfortunately many of the individual spots felt underwhelming. If you have extra time in Rotorua, it’s a decent way to fill a few hours, but it’s definitely not a must-see."
