"A real highlight of our stay in The Bay of Islands- our tour guide ‘Pi’ was a family member of this Family owned & run property & Tour.SO many glow worms throughout the cave and Pi shared both her Family & Cultural stories and her extensive knowledge of glow worms- topped off by a self guided post tour walk thru the stunning woodlands- highly recommend a visit!"

"Highly recommend visiting the Kawiti Family Glowworm Cave! My husband and I were the only people in the tour because other guests were running late and they didn’t want to delay us! Pai was an amazing guide and so passionate about sharing the history of the cave as well as the lives of glowworms! I wasn’t sure what to expect once in the caves but it was a remarkable experience! Looking up it felt like the night sky in the cave and seeing the glowworms “fishing lines” up close was fascinating! I was also excited to finally see an eel on the way into the cave! Definitely worth checking out!"
