"Small site with good access to the waters edge. A few flat areas. Definitely not a swimming location. Unless you like mud baths! There's a walking/ cycle path running along the road which takes you to the next area.... a bigger flat area with a toilet and a place to launch your boat."

"This is a nice spot to stop by the Wairarapa Lake when driving south to the ocean. You have lovely views over the water and it is very picturesque and perfect for a picnic or rest stop. You may ever see a bird or too. There is some beautiful native trees and also space to park your car. Sadly there are not many spots on this side of the Lake to stop at due to the lake edges being dominated by farmland. But this is a good stop if you are driving by."
