Best fish sources in Bergen to convert a fish hater via good, local, fresh produce.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fisketorget is celebrated for its incredibly fresh seafood and delicious offerings like the famous fish soup and grilled turbot. Visitors appreciate the wide variety of options, including non-seafood items, and the lively market atmosphere. However, some note that it can feel like a tourist trap with higher prices, and a few find certain dishes, like whale steak, to be tough.
"I love the food options here. The food is indicative of typical Norwegian food. I had the best, freshest salmon I have ever tasted. Other notable dishes include: Bergen soup, Salmon soup, reindeer anything!, fish and chips and much more! We ate there every day we were there because of its location and convenience. Come prepared for rain as it rains large percentage of the year in Bergen."

"One of the many tourist attractions in Bergen. It is right by the harbor or pier. Stalls are on the both side of a corridor, where visitors are passing through in both directions. Very busy at times, various seafood on display were fresh."
Patrick Xu
"An array of stalls with a wide variety of seafood. We had the best Fish Soup and the most delicious buttery Turbot fish. Also tried ethically sourced Whale steak which was a bit tough to est.
The food is fresh and delicious but pricey as quite popular with tourists."
