Reviews Summary

Geitvågen Recreation Area boasts a magical location with stunning views and a great price, especially for tent campers. While the natural setting and midnight sun views are highlights, visitors should be prepared for the current renovation phase, which limits RV access and can complicate payment. Some guests have noted issues with disruptive day-trippers and the need for more consistent facility maintenance.

"Service- I understand due to renovations that the camping isn't complete. It only accepts tents. So we needed to contact the Norwegian Resepsjon number. Heady on the call was very lovely and helped us immediately. However, for people that might not have international minutes, or don't speak English and need help it can be quite difficult and frustrating.
Also if there was a problem on the camping that needed a worker, you can't immediately get help.

The location is magical. Unbelievable views. For an incredible price of 200 NOK or €20 per night.
The price includes hot showers, however one of the showers thermostat tap is stuck in the men's, which was too hot.

The camping has a small beach which me and my friend went into and quickly sprung out of after seeing enormous crabs 😅. There are so many crabs."

"Very nice little camping area - only for tents currently. The water was very warm, the sanitary rooms were mostly clean and were maintained by two 16/18 year old boys who were very nice ^^
Paying is a little bit more difficult since there is no actual reception (or at least no one there) but i could pay at the ice cream shop^^ good vibes"

"Location is a 10 out of 10. Camping is currently under renovation and not open for campers or caravan. Only for tents. Price is 200 nok incl showers. Service building is old but does the job.

The new owner of the camping is very kind and helpfull.

On sunny days it get a bit busy with people visiting the lagoon.

This camping is the perfect place to watch midnight sun."
