Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Norwegian Aviation Museum as an incredible and surprisingly engaging experience, even for those not typically interested in planes. The vast collection, detailed historical context, and interactive elements are frequently highlighted as major strengths, making it a memorable visit for all ages. Some find the sheer size requires significant time to fully appreciate.

"The museum is amazing. I am an airline pilot myself and must say I was amazed, especially the military aviation section. The U-2 Dragon Lady, one of my all-time favorite was a huge surprise to me!
There is really nothing to complain about. I did notice in the civil aviation section that the dates were a bit out of order in terms of following it chronologically (the dates were correct), and I also noticed a complete lack of mention of Santos Dumont, the first pilot to start and land a self-propelled aircraft.
Be that as it may, I’d still rate it 100%"

"This is one of the best museum I ever visited. HUGE positive surprise! 100% recommend. Maker sure you have at least half a day because it is not small! Interesting even if you aren’t into aviation."

Daniel Orban

"Great museum. So many planes (!), but also so much more. From early flights and myths and spectacles; to commercial and military... All fascinating. Give it plenty of time. 3-4 hours of wonder; a cafe; and great guides.

A joy. Thank you."
