Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Hjørundfjord as a breathtakingly beautiful and serene destination, often described as a hidden gem. The dramatic mountain scenery and tranquil waters are highlights, with many recommending 'silent' cruises for an immersive experience. Some note the cold weather, even in summer, and limited amenities directly on the fjord.
"A short boat journey from Alesund, this beautiful fjord is definitely worth visiting if you get a chance. The fjord has an interesting history of the people who settled there over the years, which was narrated to us by our guide as we progressed further along. The surrounding mountains and landscape are breathtaking and the photos absolutely do not do them justice - you really need to see them for yourself if you get the chance!"
