"Adorable miniature fortress ruins with gorgeous view over the skyline.
Although being not so easy to reach without the use of a car or a bike these ruins remain a must-see in the small town of Bodø. The place is extremely tiny and can require not more than 10 minutes to be thoroughly explored. Anyway it provides some really nice views over the city and surrounding areas with the sea and various islands all around.
For tourists coming to Bodø in either train or plane it's recommendable to make use of the widely available electric scooters provided by Ryde. A good advice is to opt for the daily pass so to be able to explore the entirety of the town autonomously.
Free public toilet is available (only in specific season).

A short visit to the fort is highly recommended for anyone passing by Bodø."
