Good descriptions on every box with stories and pictures from the history. Allow 1,5 to 2,5 hours walking the whole promenade. Plenty of cafes and restaurants by. You might bring a jacket for the wind. Wheelchair access all over. If you start at number 1 take the train to Skøyen or bus to Bygdøy. Stop at Skøyen."
