Tusenfryd (Oslo)
Hej!

Trip to Oslo - TusenFryd , Fjord and other activities for a family
Tusenfryd is not that big. One day is sufficient in my opinion. Easy access by bus from bus terminal in Oslo. Tusenfryd is in the middle of nowhere tourist wise, so book accommodation somewhere else. Oslo summer park (https://hoytlavt.no/oslo/en/) is located in the same…
4.5 days in Norway with 3 young daughters?
Flying to Oslo in June with my 3 daughters (ages 11, 8, and 6). We’ve never been to Norway. If you had 4.5 days to spend in one location, where would you stay? I don’t want to be packing and unpacking every night, so would prefer to visit 1 place and stay at a single hotel for…

How does Tusenfryd compare to other amusement parks around the world?
If you compare it to amusement parks in other small countries, it is fine. It is an ok amusement park to spend an afternoon or day in. But compared to large amusement parks, it is nothing. Even Norwegians living around Tusenfryd might take a trip to Liseberg in Gothenburg to…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tusenfryd offers a charming theme park experience near Oslo with a good mix of classic and modern rides, including the thrilling Storm - The Dragon Legend. While some attractions are older, they still provide enjoyment. The park's hillside location offers great views but requires comfortable footwear. Food prices are high, making bringing your own a popular tip. Overall, it's considered a great day out for families and thrill-seekers alike, despite some older rides being a bit rough.
"Tusenfryd is a charming theme park near Oslo. It's easily accessible with a direct bus connection. The park is built on a hillside so there might be some steep walks as you go through the park, but the view is well worth it.
I visited on a quiet day, but operations were still fast resulting in really short queues. The food here is pretty good as well.
The ride lineup is solid. Most of the rides are a bit older, but some still manage to impress to this day like the iconic Speed Monster or the Spin Spider. Even Loopen and Super Splash are pretty good and not too rough for their age. Thundercoaster is a bit unfortunate, because it generally has a great layout, but it's become so rough that you can't really enjoy any of it.
Now where the park really shines is in the back, with the new addition of the prototype Inverted Infinity Coaster Storm - The Dragon Legend. That ride packs a punch. It is on the shorter side but it is just so much fun.
Overall I feel like there is still some untapped potential lingering in this park, but that doesn't mean that it's not worth a visit. You can spend an amazing day here at Tusenfryd!"

"Super fun. Suitable for all ages but few options for below 5. People with height above 140cm will be able to use all games, some will be for below 110 cm also. There’s shops in all area for fast food and some other snacks. The place is suitable for trolleys and special needs. Overall it is costly but great experience"
