"If you have some time in Pucallpa, visit this garden. During weekdays you have to make a reservation, I didn’t know that, but after a phone call they sent someone to let me in and give me a private guided tour of the botanical garden. Guide Agosto was so friendly and patient, and took his time to tell with great expertise about the uses of the many plants and trees, the mythical cryptids of the region and the 30 year history of the garden. A part of the garden resembles a primary forest. You can get there easily by taking a colectivo bus on the main entrance road to Pucallpa."
