What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Los Yuyos Beach is a convenient spot for a quick swim or surf lesson near Lima, praised for its calm waters and sunset views. However, visitors often note cleanliness issues and suggest it's better for short visits or specific activities rather than an all-day beach experience.
"Super nice sunset swim ☀️ wouldn’t spend all day here."

"Not a beach to spend the day only recommended for surfing. It is a very dirty beach, with a lot of people and pets. We go only for the surfing classes. If you go for surfing then 5 stars!!"
Carmen LaRue Grijalva
"Was fine. Checked the box for going to the beach in Lima. Beach had sand, which was good because beaches just up the road were only rocks. It also has umbrellas and chairs to rent, which is also nice since other beaches didn’t look to have that available. We got one umbrella and four chairs for 30 soles, probably could have negotiated lower sine the beach wasn’t busy at 10am. It was fairly clean, only a little bit of junk that washed ashore or was left behind. There were “drifter” people packing up their camp and washing themselves in the water when we arrived. They didn’t make a show of it so it wasn’t a huge deal. There were portable toilets that were locked, we didn’t use them but I’m assuming we would have had to pay someone to open it for us. All in all, it was just fine. Definitely been to better beaches in the world but deemed good for Lima."
