What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Santa Ana Viewpoints for their spectacular panoramic views and opportunities to experience local life away from the main tourist crowds. The natural beauty, especially volcanic crater lakes, is a significant draw. However, some reviews mention modern construction obscuring views in certain urban locations, and the potential for crowds at very popular spots.
"A nice plaza up from the arch. It is very quiet here and not tourist heavy at all. Again similar to the arch, it is a little bit of a climb from Cusco main plaza, but you get to experience a lot of local scenario and see a lot of day to day local lives. The plaza is open and free to visit, a nice and breath taking view of Cusco. Definitely worth the visit here!"

"There's not really much here apart from the church, the bell tower, and the parochial buildings but if you keep your eyes peeled there are some interesting stone carvings located around tge plaza which I am guessing are from the republican era, they certainly aren't Inca. It's a nice place to chill out on the benches but even the view of the city is now obscured by the modern construction of the Hilton hotel.
Probably not worth going out of your way to visit unless you'd like to attend mass at the church or are passing by.
Still, it's a pretty nice place away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre."

"Not very touristic place, but very photogenic with spectacular view."
