What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Luljetta's Hanging Gardens Spa offers a unique, nature-infused relaxation experience with stunning views and highly praised massages. However, some guests find it overpriced and note that the facilities are aging and require more maintenance. The cliffside location means many stairs, which may not suit everyone.
"Its a NO for me and my husband..Cant recommend, overpriced and understaffed. Not much compassion and help from the staff (some but not all) even the manager didnt show up when I asked to speak to her/him. Supposed to be a 3 day stay but left early due to issues with certain things there.Room too small different from your google and fb page.
Expensive than Okada but not worth the stay. Looks like you're in quarantine specially rainy days, can stare at the trees all day..Maybe good for a tour group.
*door locked key is hard to open..no keycard given. What if theres emergency inside and your locked in?
*Gave us the most isolated room, hard too walked too far and taking the stairs up and down..NO LIFT.. for people on their older years like us
*No phone to contact the front desk in case of emergency and if you need something
*For an expensive room, 10k/day must have complimentary water, toiletries, soap, tissue, coffee, etc..for the time that you cant go out to get some tissue rolls or whatever you need
*Resto closed early at night and they will asked you to go to their neighbor resto which is Loreland too far to walked and its raining.
* We checked out before 12 and no one help us with our 25kls and 7kls luggage. We can give tip if someone else does.
*they gave discount for consideration to our unworthy and sad stay , but 700 pesos discount is consumable...haha..
* and more
*Sorry, but I CANT RECOMMEND
*PICTURES AND VIDEOS WILL BE POSTED"

"We visited Luljetta Hanging Garden for my birthday last weekend. We availed their Nurture package (inclusive of lunch, snack, Coffee scrub and massage) and it was worth it!
The food was delightful (though we have to pack it to go because we got there late and we dont have time to eat the lunch). The massage was very relaxing. The coffee scrub felt good for my skin. Favorite spot was the Dr Fish. I also love that you can enjoy the sauna with your loved ones in opposite sex (since most saunas I go to has separate saunas for male and female). Perfect place for couples but families can also enjoy since there were swimming pools that kids can enjoy. Props also to the staff because they were very accommodating. Only downside is that the place looks a bit old but still 5 star for me."

"Massage is ok, but honestly to say not worth for the price. Everything is old already. Jacuzzi is very small but no time limits or control. One group could held that forever specially if raining that this is the only place with shade. You have nowhere to hide."

In-depth insights and expert knowledge
The Unique 'Hanging Gardens' Concept
The 'hanging gardens' aspect refers to the terraced gardens and the spa's elevated position, offering guests breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. This unique setting provides a distinct ambiance that sets it apart from typical city spas. It's this integration with nature that draws many visitors seeking a restorative break from urban life.
While the concept is a major draw, some reviews note that the infrastructure is starting to show its age and could benefit from more consistent maintenance. However, the overall charm and the unique 'hanging garden' experience continue to be a significant appeal for travelers.
Spa Services and Relaxation
Beyond massages, the spa facilities include a sauna and jacuzzi, which are popular for detoxification and stress relief. The fish spa is another unique and enjoyable experience offered, adding a fun element to the relaxation journey. Visitors appreciate the ability to use these facilities to unwind and de-stress.
While the spa services are generally well-received, some reviews mention that the value for money can be debated, with some guests feeling that the prices are a bit high for the services rendered, especially when compared to other establishments. However, for many, the overall experience and the tranquil environment make it a worthwhile indulgence.
Navigating the Terrain and Amenities
Amenities include an infinity pool, which is a major highlight, offering spectacular views. There are also spa treatment rooms, saunas, jacuzzis, and dining areas. Some rooms for overnight stays are available, though reviews suggest they might be smaller than depicted online and lack certain conveniences like key cards or readily available phones to contact the front desk.
Practical considerations include the need for comfortable, slip-resistant footwear due to the terrain. While the natural setting is beautiful, it also means mosquitoes can be present, so insect repellent is advisable. The restaurant may close early, so guests should plan their meals accordingly.
