"This is a provincial level park and has a man made lake in the centre. There seems to be a fountain and pipes for running water, although these did not appear to be working. Two notable sculptures by the lake are of water buffalos, one with a woman and the other, a man. A reference to the importance of farming.
The main attractions and landmarks around this park are The Bacolod Capital Building, The Negros Museum and Ayala Mall.
The park is well maintained and a nice escape from the urban jungle of Bacolod."

"Went there on the first day visiting the city. Has a very authentic feel to it. You could literally sit for hours and people watch. Lots of events big and small there throughout our time in the city. Cheep food to feed the fish if you want a little something to do."

"The place is so wide despite it was situated in the center of the city. The lagoon represent peace and serenity despite the numbers, the crowd that gather here everyday still make the place looks calm and the trees was an awesome spectacle..the giant christmas tree was an added attraction at night with 2 statue of carabao standing across each other on the lagoon pool."
