What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sabang Boardwalk offers a pleasant coastal ambiance with a standout eco-tourism experience in its mangrove forest. While the boardwalk itself is a nice place to stroll, some visitors find the food offerings a bit overpriced for the taste. Service can be inconsistent, especially during peak times, but the unique natural attractions are highly praised.
"Food was decent. A bit overpriced for the taste but understandable for a tourist destination. Portions were sufficient. Very good service. Must try at least once when you visit Baler."
Joseph Mejia
"Sat down at 5pm for an “early” dinner. Placed our simple order of a cheeseburger and fish & chips. Over an hour later we asked if everything was okay. Got a vague answer. Oh, did I say we were about the only ones here when we ordered? I was about ready to leave when my burger finally came out at 6:23pm. 10 minutes later my wife’s fish & chips arrived. Horrible service with no explanation. Oh, and our little table light ran out of battery after 10 minutes"
Jeff Sharpton
"Relatively new resto that replaced the former Hungry Surfer on this spot (but their other branch is still up as of 2019). Since we came here during Holy Week, they have a 45-minute wait for food orders because their kitchen can't handle the deluge of orders. But if you get to taste their food, it's good. Try the meatlovers pizza, the sisig+dinakdakan combo, grilled veggies with pako salad, and the pako sisig which is purely crispy fried pako with mayo on top and no meat at all. They have good melon shake, too. There's an acoustic band that plays outside the boardwalk space, too. They also serve liquor."
