"It is such an alien place on this island. There are no fees to enter, it is quiet and peaceful, and despite being in a state of decay it does not look like those abandoned hotels in the northeast (sad monuments of over consumption and greed).
No one will try to sell a boat trip or other nonsense there. It is full of shade and bird chatter. There are no barbed wire fences and "no trespassing" signs.
It is painful to see that such great initiatives do not find enough support and funding. I wish the whole island would look like this park.
P.s.: sad to see that some orangutans of a human kind dare to litter there"
