Reviews Summary
Manila Memorial Park Sucat is widely praised for its serene, lush environment and well-maintained grounds, offering a peaceful place for remembrance. Visitors appreciate the architectural beauty of structures like the columbary and the presence of notable gravesites. However, the park faces challenges with traffic congestion on surrounding roads and occasional waste management issues, particularly during peak seasons like Undas.
"MMP evokes nostalgia since my maternal grandparents were interred there. How serene this vast, lush haven is! From verdant burial plots lined with towering trees to mortuary chapels, the Greek temple-like columbary and those stately mausoleums, including the graves of celebrated political and showbiz personalities, this memorial park is one of the best and ideal final resting places. There are also friendly community cats and dogs that made MMP their home.
As of this review posting time, MMP has an ongoing expansion in its park's features as a large columbary just close to the entrance gate and mortuary chapels, will soon rise to cater to the needs of more and more clients seeking for quality vaults for the remains of their dearly departed.
However, issues are always there. The usual heavy traffic in several parts of nearby Dr. A. Santos Avenue (Sucat) is so time-consuming. When visiting the dearly departed in MMP during Undas, it is advisable to have your visit on an earlier or later date as it gets awfully crowded on November 1 and 2 with difficulty in finding a parking space and terrible traffic outside the park if you are a commuter. Garbage problem is a serious concern just like in most cemeteries as many visitors would just leave their trash anywhere. The creek under the bridge to Lakeview lots and its surroundings is strewn with trash as well. The memorial park is so vast that maintenance personnel would take hours just to clean a sector of the park. I wish the park management gets stricter when it comes to waste management. I wonder if they have a compost area for all the heaps of dried-up flower arrangements, plants, and leaves swept by their personnel. A large fountain area along Sampaguita Avenue used to be the park's attraction during the bygone decades; now, it is dried up with trash strewn around, neglected, and its pipes are rusted. Does the park management has any plans on rehabilitating it once more?"

"Nice but sometimes stinky. It's outdoor cemetery so maybe hire more industrious gardeners and janitors since people do picnics and hang around visiting their dearly departed. More covered walkways since tropical sun can be tough on walking visitors and if rainy then those covered walkways can really help. Make more road signs to guide drivers and where exactly are allowed parking areas and which not allowed to avoid double parking traffic."
