What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Canigaran Beach offers a unique and affordable experience centered around its stunning sandbar and charming floating cottages. Visitors praise the clear, shallow waters, abundant starfish, and the value for money. However, the lack of facilities and the somewhat unappealing entrance can be drawbacks for some.
"Before making your appointment, check the weather or the high (no sandbar) or low tides (you can see the sandbar) for the best view. The beach is 10 minutes away, and the floating cottages you're riding will draw you to the sandbar via BANGKA or BOAT. incredibly fun and safe for friends and family. You can do fishing too but far from the swimming area."

"Hand-made Bamboo Engineered Cottages! At first glance, one wonders, yet if you really look at the create construction and reuse of bits and pieces of styrofoam wrapped with netting . . . Craft and sustainability! It’s a simple way to make a living for tourists to enjoy the shallow water, covered from the heat of the sun, for an entire day or a few hours. I much prefer this option over beaches filled with tourists, flies and vendors selling jewelry."

"Great experience today at Canigaran Beach floating cottages.
Well worth the visit and very good value for money.
Our driver towed our floating cottage out to the sand bank where we could enjoy swimming in really warm water, and then we spent a couple of hours relaxing before heading back to land. The staff are great and will let you decide how long you wish to stay. We saw so many star fish!
Like other reviews have said - make sure you take water / food / refreshments with you.
Only downside is no toilet facilities, and due to building works the entrance to the area where the boats are docked isnt the prettiest. I recommend taking flip flops / water shoes for easier manoeuvring to and from the land.
Thank you for a lovely day"
