Reviews Summary

Nagsasa Cove is lauded for its breathtaking natural beauty, offering a serene escape with clear waters, stunning sunsets, and a unique river-sea confluence. Visitors praise its tranquil atmosphere, perfect for soul-searching and disconnecting. However, the basic and somewhat uncomfortable shower and toilet facilities are a recurring point of improvement. "Ang ganda ganda.

That’s it. Jk. Last April was our 2nd time in Nagsasa Cove. The travel, the water, the place itself, the connecting of sea and river, the view of the sunset and the sunrise, everything was so magical; the kind of magical that does not overwhelm, but calms. The kind of magical that cleanses your soul.

Medyo deep haha. But, for real. Babalik pa rin talaga ako sa Nagsasa. May it be with the same people or with other friends.

Our first time, lagpas ₱3k ang gastos namin per pax. It was spontaneous kasi, as in we only planned to go to Subic then one of us challenged everyone to try Zambales and there, we discovered this beauty. No regrets at all. Ubos ang pera, pero puno ng alaala and tge strength to carry on with life.

Idk if it’s just us pero para ka talagang bibigyan ng panibagong lakas ng lugar na ‘to.

On our 2nd trip here, mas naktipid kami, especially siguro kung hindi kami nagsibili ng sobra sobrang food na pinamigay lang namin sa locals hahahha. Pero goods na rin. Less than ₱3k each kami. Meron kami nakausap via Facebook na may joiners. 5 pax kami so ₱1k each for boat transfer (back and forth), 3 tents, other essentials like ice, uling, utensils, mineral water, bonfire din yata? Tapos another ₱250 each for cottage which you really need for your stuffs.

Reminder lang na walang signal, walang kuryente (solar lights meron). May wifi daw but we did not ask kasi we went there to unwind. For us, mas ramdam mo ang Nagsasa kapag hindi ka kumonnect sa internet connection.

But there’s a hotel&resort on the right side of the cove, I think it’s called Marahuyo? They offer a more homey vibe on the island. But we prefer camping and stargazing at night habang nagwawalwal at nagdi deeptalks.

Always a core memory.

Btw we went there on a friday (friday saturday) so there’s not much of a crowd. But when we were about to go home, ayun nagdagsaan na sila.

Oh, one last thing, their bathrooms are not very comfortable to use but it still does its job. Separate ang for pee/poop and for bath. Also, you have to bring your own light (they let you borrow a few solar lights naman), and yung water is filtered sea water lang ata.

All in all, 4.5 star for Nagsasa. Highly recommend especially to people who wanna do soul searching. May it be alone or with your homies."

"Beautiful cove and campsite. Clear waters and the area offers a few water activities. You van also take a quick hike and checkout the river. The only downside is the shower and toilet facilities surely need a lot of improvement so I wouldn’t recommend the area for a family with little ones. Arrangements about your food during the stay also prove to be a really good deal."

"Nagsasa Cove in Zambales gave me one of the best travel experiences here in Philippines . The cove’s beach, with its soft volcanic sand and clear waters, was stunningly peaceful, making it perfect for swimming and just relaxing by the shore. The surrounding islands added to the beauty, creating a picturesque view that felt straight out of a postcard.

What impressed me the most was the nearby mountains, which were not only beautiful to look at but also offered great hiking opportunities. Climbing up the trails rewarded me with breathtaking panoramic views of the cove and the sea. The tranquility of the place made it feel like a true escape from the busy city life. If you’re looking for a serene and scenic getaway, Nagsasa Cove is definitely worth visiting.

Notes there’s no signal in the island. But there’s a shop provide WiFi service , just need to pay them."
