"i’ve seen some recent reviews from foreign tourists giving this museum low ratings, but i want to clarify something important: if you truly want to visit the Philippine Army Museum, you need to BOOK an appointment in advance to be permitted entry. it’s really not that hard.., just reach out to the officers and staff (email or call) at least a week before your planned visit. for foreign tourists, it’s best to request a permit about 21 days ahead
the officers and staff are very kind, polite, and friendly. i was pleasantly surprised to have a museum guide who was not only knowledgeable about every corner of the museum but also warm and approachable. the whole experience was informative and inspiring
this museum is well-curated and deserves better ratings. please respect the Philippine Army’s rules., they have strict protocols for good reasons, and understanding this will help you appreciate your visit even more. i highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in Philippine history and the bravery of our soldiers 🤍"

"Beautiful museum and Memorial in the middle of manilla honoring the sacrifices of Americans and Filipinos alike. The colors of both nations are retired each evening with taps. Over 150 names are carved on each wall with Medal of Honor awardees are embossed with gold. The museum has an excellent 15 minute video before you go to the exhibition."

"As a tank enthusiast, I liked the museum since there were tanks to walk around."
