Reviews Summary
Visitors find Krzysztofory Palace to be an impressive museum offering a deep dive into Krakow's history, culture, and traditions through engaging exhibits and a fascinating short film. The Baroque architecture of the palace itself is also a significant draw. However, some visitors note potential confusion with the cloakroom and recommend booking tickets in advance to avoid queues, especially during peak seasons or special exhibitions.
"Really impressive museum. Plenty of history and modern day nativity models.
Only confusing thing was that I was told to leave my bag at the cloakroom. After where you pay the first room you come across listed cloakroom but this isn't the cloakroom, this is only a display. The cloakroom is further along and offers free locker."

"Krzysztofory Palace in Krakow is a historic Baroque building located in the Main Market Square. It houses the Museum of Krakow, featuring the fascinating permanent exhibition "Krakow from the Beginning, to No End," which explores the city's history, culture, and traditions. Temporary exhibits also add variety to the experience. Plan for 1-2 hours to enjoy this beautifully restored palace and its engaging displays. A great choice for history lovers and curious travelers!"

"Interesting exhibition about Krakow city history and development located on three floors of historical palace. There was quite long queue to buy tickets but most probably because of Christmas szopka exhibiting there during Christmas holiday. In normal days it is probably better but still I’d recommend to buy tickets in advance through internet. Would recommend to visit this museum if you have time to spare in Krakow."
