Watch the Ukraine cubs’ first-ever play date at the Poznan Zoo! 🦁 #lioncub #lions #bigcats As you know, we are all hoping to merge Prada, and the three siblings Taras, Lesya, and Stefania into one pride. Their first playdate went well. Many more to come before a formal merger can take place. Prada is from another rescue organization and is 2 months older, and a lot larger than the 3 siblings. ...

Sound up for squawks from the flock! 🦩 Now that summer is in full swing, the flamingo flamboyance is strutting their stuff around the Zoo. These walks are a great way to get the group moving and explore new sights and smells. You can catch the walk daily around 9:30 a.m. by the entrance of The Swamp!

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Poznań New Zoo for its vast size and the impressive, naturalistic design of its animal enclosures, creating a peaceful and immersive experience. While the zoo is large and requires significant walking, most find the variety of exotic animals and the serene forest setting well worth the effort. Some minor drawbacks include the hourly schedule of the miniature train and the potential for animals to be less visible due to their natural habitats.

"Big zoo with lots of animals. There are also restaurants and snack cars. There is a small train as well. I recommend to not sit in it the whole round but go for a stop or two as you miss a lot when you just sit in it. We went especially for the Manuls, which one likes to sit on the rocks like a model, and the other one liked to hide in a tree. Finally we saw them and were very excited!"

Fiona Waser

Julia J

"Great zoo, it’s so big! The mini train only comes around once per hour so be prepared to walk a lot or wait around! Amazing zoo though was very impressed."
