What is this reflection?
Saw some of these little ball guys rolling across the landscape so after I discovered them, the reflection on the ball seems to be an actual street with real buildings, almost like it’s a photo

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Stara Kopalnia's unique blend of industrial history and art, with the underground mine tours being a standout experience. The knowledgeable guides and the impressive scale of the preserved machinery are frequently praised. Some visitors noted that certain areas could become crowded during peak times, and a few suggested more detailed descriptions for some exhibitions.
"It's a fascinating and unique place that beautifully combines history, culture, and art. The site is large and offers a variety of exhibitions, workshops, and events that cater to different interests. The architecture and industrial vibe create a special atmosphere that immerses visitors in the region's mining heritage. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are well-maintained. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that some areas can be a bit crowded during peak times, and certain exhibitions could benefit from more detailed descriptions. Overall, it's a great place for a weekend outing or a cultural day trip—definitely worth visiting!"

"Very interesting museum and mine. The guided tour offers a lot of information by people who actually worked in the mine. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent place to visit. Cost is inexpensive and we had a guide who worked in the mine walk us through everything for 2 hours. He told first stories about the mines. The Old Mine Science and Art Centre in Wałbrzych is a museum located in the historic Julia Coal Mine. It was opened in 2014 after a major expansion of the Museum of Industry and Technology located there since 1999. Most of the objects belonging to the former mine were made available to the visitors, including the lamp room, the building of the hoisting machine, the upper part of the Julia mine shaft, mechanical workshops and the mine square with locomotives and transport vehicles.

Very cool 😎 trip to Viewing tower with a 360 view of area.
The underground route – the training adit and the stone extraction tunnel – with mining machines and equipment for excavating and loading coal.
Very cool 😎 but make sure you have headcover or hat as the water drips constantly in the mine shafts. It is creepy and cool at the same time. The floors do get damp but it is definitely worth it."
