"Great little find. €12 each for a tour and tasting. Private tour as the only two there.Guide João who was excellent and very knowledgeable. Could be better signed as looked closed, a good sign on the road edge if allowed would get more people interested."

"The museum it self is very nice, full of old bottles with wine and brandy ( oldest one is 200years old!) and it's the biggest exhibition in the EU. Machines and presses for wine production used are dated from 16 century. At the end is the vine tasting and the vines we were offered are very tasty. I can definitely recommend this place."
Roxy
"A museum dedicated to the historic development of the Portuguese wine. It was a fantastic experience that helped us understand the early wine manufacturing methods, storage and commercialization. Very interesting to see how they adapted the old storage facilities to make room for the museum. The tour guide was very attentive and knew all the details. The wine testing itself at the end of the tour was very nice and we got to experience 6 different wines"
