What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the scenic beauty of Aljezur's Medieval Bridge, especially the pedestrian walkways offering lovely river views and opportunities to spot wildlife. The presence of aromatic plants adds a sensory delight. However, some negative experiences have been reported regarding customer service in nearby establishments, with one reviewer mentioning refusal of a complaints book.
"This bridge now consists of three bridges in total: one is primarily for cars and motorcycles; two others (to the left and right of the historic main bridge) are for pedestrians.
The pedestrian bridge near the market square is particularly inviting. From here, you not only have a beautiful view of the main bridge and the river, but also of the many ducks, geese, and—if it's the right time of year—small turtles basking in the sun."

"...I noticed this beautiful bridge in Aljezur!!...which is located in the district of Faro!!...it was built here in medieval times!!...but the original bridge was damaged by a flood!!...so it was later rebuilt!!...it is about forty meters long!!...it has three arches and two pillars!!...the pedestrian crossing is only on one side!!...on the opposite side...there are posts that limit passage!!...a small river passes under the bridge!!...and on the edges it is said that important aquatic species live in the sand!!... both plants and animals!!... and also aromatic plants such as rosemary!!... lavender and mint!!... a few meters from this bridge!!... there is also a pedestrian walkway!! the Alentejo…to the Algarve!!…"

Diria mesmo, uma grande falta de respeito com os clientes portugueses..
Pedimos o livro de reclamações mas foi-nos recusado.
Não recomendo este local a ninguém"
