"A great archaeological site in a rural area. The site had had a fire recently so some of the information boards were a little damaged. Folk were working on the site when we visited. Some sensitive restoration has happened, and this adds to the experience.
Narrow lanes lead into the area if you're driving. We visited out of season and parked in the bus parking area and easily found our way up to the site, maybe a 5 min walk."
