Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Forte de São Sebastião for its spectacular panoramic views and impressive, albeit often reconstructed, architecture. The main drawback is its limited accessibility, with many finding it closed outside of specific events like the Medieval Festival.

"Great place, with a nice panoramic view. The internal part is reconstructed.

(!) The fort is open just during the Medieval Festival. Otherwise, you will see just the external part of it."

"Amazing views"

Manuel Dias

"I've been there on the end of April, unfortunately I saw it from the outside only, as the gate was closed. Construction is huge and impressive, and outside parts of the wall are kept in good condition.
You can see far away from the walls, because the fort is located on the last hill before valley near the sea."
