Reviews Summary
Praia da Batata is praised for its convenient central Lagos location and the unique experience of exploring interconnected coves through rock tunnels. Visitors enjoy its suitability for relaxation and the opportunity for beach yoga. However, it can become extremely crowded, diminishing the sense of personal space, and seaweed presence can sometimes be an issue.

Perfect spot for a relaxing morning sunbathing session, highly recommend! ☀️"

"Lovely beach, really nice and cozy, but also way too busy when we were there. Unless you want to lay about 10cm apart from your beach neighbours and have people step over you constantly, just enjoy the view and move on ;)"
Sander Spoelstra
"It’s one of the ‘tunnel’ beaches so you can walk between 4 beaches through tunnels carved in the rock. Each beach felt quite different - one for ‘lads’ one for Portuguese. The steps from the lower cafe are fine but the upper boardwalk and view point is shut to come down. Theres a lot of weed at the moment (early July) so not as good as other beaches"
