What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Seixal Black Sand Beach is lauded for its stunning, dramatic volcanic landscape and unique black sand. Visitors appreciate the striking contrast with the ocean and the adjacent natural pools. However, the experience can be marred by extremely difficult and limited parking, and basic facilities.
"Beautiful beach with a stunning dramatic coastline backdrop. Right next to the black sand is a natural pool, which is fun to explore. Definitely worth a stop if you’re driving by. Parking can be tricky, but with a little patience spots do open up."

"Nice beach, we swim on October. It was amazing and also they got shower on the street. You can wash your body after swimming."

"The beach has stunning view, BUT - parking is impossible (there is tiny parking spot, maybe for 20 cars, for 10 euros per day), otherwise get ready to fight and sweat to find a spot 😂 also be aware not to park on the “yellow” lines (police officer is walking around and giving fine) 🙏🏻 also there is only 1 toilet (there was no toilet paper, no lock on the door, no one cleaning it). The food spots - we have only tried one (food tasted great, just the waiting time was little bit longer)."
