It is very quiet, given the fact it reaches the main road on both sides. It is a safe choice for a walk even on those windy days."

"Parque da Liberdade (Liberdade Park) is public park located upon the slope just south of Volta do Cuche in the Historic Centre of Sintra. There are convenient entrances along Volta do Duche as well as another next to Palácio Valenças.
You'll find paved walking paths and nicely landscaped grounds within Parque Liberdade. There are a few monument busts, shaded paths through light forest as well as a little duck pond area near the Volta do Duche entrance. Tennis court and sports grounds further up the slopes and near to R. Visc. de Monserrate as well.
Overall, there will be much opportunity to spend time in palace park grounds during your stay so city park like Liberdade might be redundant for short visits to Sintra. But it is a nice little place for green space very near the city centre if needed."
