Reviews Summary
Visitors find Museu do Artesanato e do Design MADE to be a charming and affordable gem, showcasing authentic Alentejo crafts. While small, its well-organized collection and unique shop offer a delightful cultural experience. Be mindful of potentially inconsistent opening hours, especially around lunchtime.
"It is a very small museum in the vicinity of the Chapel of Bones. It was founded recently in 2011 and presents handcrafts and artworks of mainly the local Alentejo area. It worth a quick visit as there are some interesting handcrafts there, it is not crowded at all and the entrance fee is only 2 euros normal ticket and 1 euro for students and seniors. And there is a shop at the end where you can buy similar handcrafts as a souvenir."

"Stunning collection of relics. I particularly enjoyed the electric whisk circa 2015. It's fascinating to imagine how ancient civilizations whisked their foodstuffs."
Olivia Parsonage
"An excellent collection. Well organised. The work for sale by local craftspeople is very good and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended."
