Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Playa Sucia La Playuela for its stunningly beautiful, calm, and blue waters, making it a rewarding destination. The scenic hike to reach the beach is a significant part of the experience, though the rough access roads and potential for strong odors from nearby salt flats are noted drawbacks. TikTokReddit

"Wow! Well worth the walk. To get to this amazing beach we had to walk a mile through a rustic pathway, but well worth it. The beach is beautiful. The water is calm and so blue. We had to park on street then walk about one mile. We tried coming here years ago but could not find it. The signage was much better."

"The dirt road damaged by the storm was closed to cars. A nice hike to the lighthouse and beach. We’ll worth the effort, rewarded by spectacular views. A must see if your near Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico"

Miguel Calderon

"Quick visit, didn’t go to the lighthouse. Just walked the beach since there was lots of seaweed getting in and the water was super rough. The drive there was really rough, lots of pot holes and would not recommend to go if raining since it is a dirt road. The area is a nature preserve where the pink salt flats are…smells horrible 😂 beautiful sight and quick 1-2 hour visit."
