Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Caguana Indigenous Ceremonial Site as an invaluable historical gem, highlighting the profound energy of the ancient Taíno grounds and the insightful knowledge of the guides. While the site itself is a 5/5 experience, some reviews note that the trails could benefit from more maintenance, suggesting a need for increased government attention to preserve this crucial heritage.

"Really interesting to learn about the Taino people and other cultures from the Island! If you’re visiting and in the area, I think it’s important to learn and it’s a well-kept, beautiful property rich with information and history!"

Aelish Brown

"The 4 stars are to stimulate the government of Puerto Rico to pay attention to this site. Still, the place is an invaluable jewel of Puerto Rico, and definitely a 5/5 you must visit. Real artifacts on exhibit with an amazing guide, Anibal, who has a trove of information like no one else I have met. The exhibit facilities are well-kept and clean, and the greenery is clean and well-maintained. But the trails need TLC, dated, rotten wood, and painting. This easily one of the most historical sites that you should visit if you are Puertorrican, or are interested in learning about true Boriquen tradition."

Xavier Ortiz Ramirez

"This is pretty amazing--indigenous ceremonial grounds that you can wander and take in a high concentration of petroglyphs in their original positions around ball game pitches. I felt a special energy walking around this preserved spot. Try to speak to the docent, he's full of knowledge."
